QOTSA studio time right? Dave hanging around? WHAT DOES IT MEAN? YOU CAN’T JUST POST STUFF LIKE THIS OK THIS IS NOT FAIR MY MIND IS FUCKED UP ENOUGH ALREADY AND IT’S 2PM AND I’M FEVERISH AND I CAN’T SLEEP

Ok, let’s make some guesses:

• Alain and Dave guesting on new Queens album?
• Josh and Dave guesting on new Alain album?
• New album for Them Crooked Vultures and JPJ isn’t in the picture because he’s so tiny?
• Something totally new and different and secret and oh my god what is happening here?

Alain’s working on the new album for sure. He’s either producing or guesting or both, we don’t know yet. As for Dave I’d be much more excited if he were to guest on the new queens album than for this to be some sort of TCV project (and honestly, JPJ would be here if it was. I think we’ve got a while to wait for any more TCV). Dave could just be hanging out. But honestly. This image is exciting enough already without us postulating.

My guess/hope is that it’s Dave and Alain helping out on the recording of the new Queens album. Let’s just take a moment to remember what happened last time Dave drummed with them.
